Photoshop Tutorial : Text fill with Image

I make this tutorial based on what i learned from www.photoshopessentials.com and at my school. I make this tutorial for my assignment. I'm still beginner in photoshop :-)

1. Click Open to add photo that you want to be placed in text.

2. Duplicate layer, right click bacground layer and "choose dupliacte layer..." or Ctrl+J as shorcut to get duplicated layer from backgroung.

3. Click "Create a new layer" next to the "delete layer" to add new blank layer. hold Ctrl and place new blank layer between layer 1 and background.

4. Click Edit then choose fill on the menu bar on the top and go for content: use: white.

5. Select Layer1 as duplicated layer from background then select type tool or press T.

6. Select Font with thick letter, example Arial.

7. Set the foreground color as white. Press letter D to reset foreground and background color to default (Foreground=Black, Background=White), to swap them press x. If you look at the foreground and background color swatches near the bottom of the tools palette( default one showed before swapped in little black-white sign).

9. Add your text and checkmark.

10. you can resize and reposition you text by free transform command ( press Ctrl+T ). drag the six point to resize text and hold swift + drag to reposition then after you done press enter.

11. Drag text layer below layer1 and select layer1.

12. Right click layer1 and choose clipping mask and you get result like this :-)

Review Out of Box: HG Zaku II Thunderbolt

Since i always buy bootleg's MG because cheap (You can get MG with HG price if it's a bootleg) then this is the first time i buy the original one, BANZAI!...ups BANDAI! i bought this when there was an event to celebrate independence day, almost every stores in mall in my place have "buy 1 get 1 free" including Hobby Store ^_^ so i told my cousin to buy one whatever it would be as long as gundam model because there was crowded and i wasn't there at that time. in the end i got zaku II thunderbolt and HGUC gelgoog for free.

The box tell you the look if the model fully assmbled with decals and repainted. there is pose capability as well.

Instructions and description about the model in full japanese language, for most of people don't fully understand. if you ever buy bootleg ( for me, Hongli) and take a look at instructions and description, there is an ENGLISH TRANSLATE under chinese language. this is the first bandai that i buy so don't judge me bad ^-^

So this is why bootleg can't win.... Bandai runner has better quality in the plastic and molds producing solid parts without defects. in zaku II thunderbolt, the parts has great details and  you get 3 sets of palm action, 1 axe, 1 machine gun, 1 bazooka,and backpack with 1 fuel tank. but i disappointed with only i ammo machine ammo and also ...

you can look there is joints like this but in these runners i don't see anything like this. maybe its too small so it is too dificult to be made, but i really happy for what i have got. Arigatou gozaimasu Bandai.

About the decal set, can't say much.....very good quality ^-^ also you get zeonic decal set for free.
