Coreldraw tutorial : Banner ( spanduk ) with transparency

Another assignment --"   but it's okay. before we start, prepare two pictures with high resolution and ideas. I use coreldraw X7

1. Click file and choose new, set your width 4 m and your height 1 m

2. Make rectangle 4x1 in meter with Rectangle tool

3. With Type tool , write anything you like

4. Import 2 pictures that have been prepared and adjust them in same height. Choose one of the picture and order on the top then make sure they are parallel, the result will be like this ( look at the mosque picture is not almost a half of the total width in my case)


5. On the bottom left corner, click 2 parallel right arrow and choose Transparency Tool

6. After click Transparency tool and your cursor there is like a glass thing, click the green picture and drag to the left.


7. Adjust the picture so it will be same size with the rectangle before. Remember what you type before? place yours on the middle top or on the middle bottom  of your picture. This is what i type and this is the final result :-)

Coreldraw tutorial : 3d effects text

As usual, I make this tutorial for my school assignment. I'm still a beginner :-) basically this thing get done by relying everything to extrude tool. Okay let's start

1. Write everything with thick font like Rockwell Extra Bold 
2. Go to Menu bar to effect and choose Extrude Tool. This picture below tells you if you've done choosing extrude tool.

3. Click your type and choose edit in extrudel tool menu on the right side

4. Set as you like in extrude camera and extrude color in extrude menu bar on the right side. Pictures below are my setting.



With my setting this is the result :-)


About Brush

Another Assingment but i like it :-) here's about Brush in Photoshop

Brush ( extension .ABR ) is tool that already have a shape ( like animals, Trees, Buildings, etc. ) and only its size that can be adjusted. you can download it free from the internet. after you download and extract, copy or move the -----.ABR into adobe files -> Photoshop -> Presets and paste.

this one of my creation using brush

1. Click file and new. Set anything you like

2. Click Brush tool and choose brush in the icon.        

3. Choose brush anything you like. for me crispy crack brush :-)



4. Go to icon and choose Gradient fill and Black & White. set anything you like 

5. Put another brush on it and you have this effect :-)






Text Bloody

Today I make this tutorial for my school assignment. I'm still a beginner :-) Before we start, make sure you already have Bill Hicks or Bloody Font.

1. Click File to new with 500 x 200 px with 71 pixels/inch and black background.

2. Click Type tool and choose one of downloaded Font with red colour. Set other setting and type as you like.

3. Adjust its position with Free Transform Command ( CTRL + T ).


4. In menu bar. Go to Image and choose Image rotation 90 CW

5. In menu bar again. Go to Filter and choose Stylize Wind. Click OK


6. In menu bar. Go to Image and choose Image rotation 90 CCW

7. Go to Layer style and choose Bevel and Emboss. Set yours with this.


8. Go to layer style again and choose Gradient overlay. Its optional so you can set anytthing as you like :-) here's mine


RESULT HOHOHO :-)





Text Pudding

Today i make "Text Pudding"  based on what i learned from my school. I still beginner in photoshop ;-). before you follow this tutorial, you must have Arcanum font.

1. Click file and choose new. adjust size 450x170 with 71 pixels/inch resolution and white content.

2. Click Type tool and choose Horizontal Type Tool.

3. Choose Arcanum font 65 pt and colour: ecad17 at Type tool bar. Then type as you like.


4. At menu bar and choose layer. At layer style choose Inner glow set yours with this setting.


5. Go to Bevel and Emboss. Then set yours with this setting.

6. At Bevel and Emboss. You can see Contour ( image below ). Click Countor and choose Upper right countor.

7. Ta-da!!! here the example. i like this word for some reason hehehe.

Text Reflect

Today i have assignment from my school to make "Text Reflect" tutorial. I make this tutorial based on what i learned from my school. I still beginner in photoshop ;-)

1. Click file and choose new. adjust size 800x600 with 72 pixels/inch resolution and white content.

2. Click Type tool and choose Horizontal Type Tool.

3. Choose Arial with size 70 pt, Reguler style, sharp anti-aliasing , bright colour and fisheye +50 
( you can change this size , text wrap, and colour as you like ). Afterthat, type anything you like ;-). 

4. To main menu and choose layer. choose layer style and go for Bevel and Emboss. Set your setting with this.


5. Choose Main menu again and go to layer. Choose duplicate layer. you can click CTRL+J for shortcut. You can rename the duplicated layer to differentiate the other one.

6. Right click first layer and choose clear layer style.

7. Click CTRL+T for Free Transform Command. Shape your typing by drag the top line until pass bottom line. you can see reflection below your typing ;-).


8.  Click the first layer. Go to main menu and choose layer. choose layer style and go for Gradien Overlay. Set your setting with this ( you can set the gradient as you like).


9. Apply this on the duplicated layer. and FINISH ;-)



Photoshop Tutorial : Text fill with Image

I make this tutorial based on what i learned from www.photoshopessentials.com and at my school. I make this tutorial for my assignment. I'm still beginner in photoshop :-)

1. Click Open to add photo that you want to be placed in text.
2. Duplicate layer, right click bacground layer and "choose dupliacte layer..." or Ctrl+J as shorcut to get duplicated layer from backgroung.


3. Click "Create a new layer" next to the "delete layer" to add new blank layer. hold Ctrl and place new blank layer between layer 1 and background.


4. Click Edit then choose fill on the menu bar on the top and go for content: use: white.


5. Select Layer1 as duplicated layer from background then select type tool or press T.
6. Select Font with thick letter, example Arial.


7. Set the foreground color as white. Press letter D to reset foreground and background color to default (Foreground=Black, Background=White), to swap them press x. If you look at the foreground and background color swatches near the bottom of the tools palette( default one showed before swapped in little black-white sign).


9. Add your text and checkmark.


10. you can resize and reposition you text by free transform command ( press Ctrl+T ). drag the six point to resize text and hold swift + drag to reposition then after you done press enter.


11. Drag text layer below layer1 and select layer1.
12. Right click layer1 and choose clipping mask and you get result like this :-)
